Who we are

This website is operated by After Click. This notice explains what information we handle when you use the website and why.

Information we handle

  • Contact form. Your name, business email, company or website, area of interest and message, so we can reply.
  • SEO audit. The website address you submit. Our crawler then requests the pages of that site (following its robots.txt rules, see About our crawler) and stores what it reads: page titles, descriptions, headings, links, status codes and the resulting findings. We do not store full page copies. Audit data is deleted automatically after 30 days.
  • Technical data. Standard server logs such as IP address and browser type, used to keep the site working and secure. To limit how many audits one visitor can start, we keep a one-way hash of your network address (never the address itself) with each audit for up to 30 days.
  • Analytics (only if you accept). If you accept the banner, we use Google Analytics (page views and general usage, using cookies) and Microsoft Clarity (anonymised session recordings and heatmaps, with form fields masked). Nothing from either is loaded until you accept, and you can clear your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, run the audit you ask for, and keep the website secure. We do not sell your information.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Use the contact form.
